You Are What You Eat – How True Is It?

You Are What You EatWhen you are young, you probably don’t bother to think much or worry much about healthy eating.  You eat whatever you want, as long as that is convenient for you to grab and go and can help you quickly satisfy your hunger.

Well, you might once in a while think about eating healthy. On the other hand, you might also think it is just a hassle to buy the fresh veggies and fruits and then you have to go home, spending time cleaning it, cooking it and finally get to eat it.

Yes, you do need to spend some time preparing your food. However, you also need to spend time waiting in line waiting for your food while dining out or doing any take-out.

Here’s the question you should really sit down and ask yourself:

Would you prefer to spend just certain hours of a day feeding your body with real nutritious food while you are still in good health OR

Would you prefer to use your hard-earned money and spend lots of it on your medicine ( a nicer way of saying Toxin) or on your doctors because you’ve been putting in so much junk food into your body over the year and your body has become so toxic?

I don’t know about you. But, personally I’d rather make less money and spend time eating healthy and taking good care of my body. I have no intention to make these doctors and pharmaceutical companies any richer at all.

Just about every day when you either turn on the TV, computer or open a newspaper, you are bound to read some confusing news about diet programs or any so called “low-fat”, “non-fat” or “diet” healthy food. Please do not allow these advertisements drive you to distraction.

Remember these 4 key facts:

  1. What you eat affects your appearance, your energy and comfort.
  2. America is on the wrong eating path. Every two out of three Americans are overweight or obese. Diabetes and high blood pressure are constantly on the rise. Heart attacks, strokes and various cancers are alarmingly common.
  3. Many factors contribute to these complex health problems, but the basic cause is straightforward: people eat too much of the wrong foods; that is, the processed foods, junk foods and the foods loaded with chemicals.
  4. Good eating is not a punishment, but an opportunity. If you understand why healthy eating is important and how to get started, you’ll find eating healthy is such a joy.

Believe it or not, your body has the special ability to heal itself and it is the only healing system that can bring you back into balance, especially when illness strikes.

In our fast-paced society, we often pay little attention to what our body’s real need.  We tend to ignore what exactly our body’s trying to tell us. The more we are in advance of developing these medicine, the more sick people we see. Can you see which direction your health is going?

No matter how advanced these new medicine is, it just can’t simply take care of your illness, if you don’t give your body the real food.

You are what you eat! Your body will say “Thank You” and function really well when you feed it the right food. It’s never too late to start eating healthy. Just do it now! It’s that simple!
